The company Fliegl manufactures various agricultural machinery for farmers and contractors. After the near demise of the Dutch manufacturer Kaweco (After takeover of a German agricultural machinery company: Restart at Kaweco), Fliegl secured the rights and building plans for the Hoflader. In the future, Fliegl will be manufacturing Hoflader at its factory in Haag, Upper Bavaria. Also interesting: Son of a farmer starts a company - today he is the market leader in this field.

Fliegl is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and showcased its newest product, the Hoflader, at its open day. The 2.5-ton Hoflader from Fliegl is said to stand out for its large lifting capacity of 1.85 tons and high tipping load of 2.0 tons. Efficiency is also an important feature of the Hoflader KW2527. The operating speed in normal operation is around 1500 rpm. In addition to fuel savings, this leads to less noise and thus more working comfort.

To meet current emission requirements, the KW2527 is equipped with a 37-hp Yanmar Stage V engine with a diesel particulate filter (DPF). The hydrostatic all-wheel drive allows for a pulling force of 21.5 tons. With the so-called Automotive ECO-Drive, sufficient working hydraulics are provided at the lowest possible engine speed. This is intended to save fuel, reduce wear, and noise. The standard 51-liter hydraulic pump ensures that there is always enough oil. After acquiring the Kaweco Hoflader, the company reportedly revised, for example, the quick coupler for the Euro standard attachment of implements.

Safety and comfort are provided by a cabin for the Hoflader. The open roof construction of the KW2527 allows for a good view of the loading arm in all positions. An optional foldable roof may also be available for low stables, etc. The cabins can be tilted to the side for maintenance work. The price for the Fliegl 25-27 is 48,000 euros excluding VAT. In the future, Fliegl also plans to offer a battery-operated E-Hoflader variant.
