Horsch's new tine cultivator Finer XL can handle stubble incorporation and seedbed preparation.

The Finer XL can be used all year round: From stubble fallow to seedbed preparation to weed control. It works shallow from 2 to 10 cm and cuts over the entire surface.

The Finer XL can be used throughout the year: from stubble cultivation to seedbed preparation to weed control. It works flat from 2 to 10 cm and cuts over the entire surface.

With the Finer XL, Horsch introduces a versatile spring tine harrow to the market, expanding the well-known 3-point Finer SL series with a trailed machine to cover larger areas of application. The trailed technology also allows work to be done with smaller tractors.

The Finer XL can be used in a variety of ways on a farm throughout the year: from stubble cultivation to seedbed preparation to mechanical weed control. Its main area of application lies in shallow soil cultivation from 2 to 10 cm and full-surface cutting.

By having a tine spacing of 52 cm, the Finer XL has a high passage.

Stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation

Currently, the Finer XL is available in working widths of 7 and 8 m. Targeted adjustments were made to the tine field in the trailed technology. The 6-row tine field with a line spacing of 15 cm, together with the well-known share program - optionally with 5 cm or 20 cm wing share - provides the flexibility to use the Finer XL for both stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation.

A full-surface cut is also no problem.

Folded for road transport.

Lightweight, yet sturdy

With a tine spacing of 52 cm, the Finer XL has a high passage, and thus achieves a very good mixing ratio even with large amounts of organic residues, according to Horsch.

The spring tine harrow is not only characterized by a versatile range of applications, but also by its light weight and stable frame construction with a central axle, ensuring high robustness even under demanding conditions. The combination of depth control wheels at the front, contour adaptation, and a single or double packer at the rear guarantee precise depth control even with shallow work.

With a wide range of combinations of packers and harrows, the machine can be optimally adapted to any location and is universally applicable. For the future, a rounding of the working widths of the Finer XL both upwards and downwards is planned, as well as a variant with harrow only and without packer.
