Launch of the XXL tractor: Nexat wants to make a breakthrough in this country.

Nexat has created a tractor of superlatives with its XXL carrier vehicle - now it needs the suitable agricultural structures. The Brazilian agricultural market is not only interesting for the Lower Saxony-based company because of its size.

The Nexat carrier vehicle is now officially being sold in Brazil after about three years of testing, complete with all attachments and services - an XXL tractor for an XXL agricultural country. The kick-off for the sale of Nexat in Brazil was the Bahia Farm Show, one of the most important agricultural fairs in Brazil. Recently, it was intensively examined whether the Nexat fits the needs and requirements of Brazilian agriculture. This so-called product validation was successful, so commercial distribution in Brazil can now begin. The business will be handled through its own Brazilian subsidiary. In Brazil, a complete system will be offered, complemented by leading local manufacturers.

Nexat is a German agricultural machinery manufacturer from Riesten, Lower Saxony. The company has developed the system tractor that operates in the "Widespan Controlled Traffic Farming" process. Controlled Traffic Farming means using the same lanes for all operations. Widespan Vehicles are known for their enormous track widths. They typically drive longitudinally on the road and transversely in the field, with the attachments or rather fixtures installed between the tracks. This is to minimize soil compaction as much as possible, and according to the manufacturer, track widths of 14 meters can be driven year-round. Nexat autonomously follows these tracks and can be combined with various components for different operations.

Technical details of Nexat include diesel-electric drive, fully automatic guidance, and a modular plug & play structure. Nexat advertises that the carrier vehicle increases profitability by reducing machinery requirements, fuel consumption, and downtime while increasing yield through precision technology and efficient field work improving soil quality, water infiltration, and water storage capacity.

At the Bahia Farm Show, Klemens Kalverkamp (CEO and founder of NEXAT GmbH), Vinicius Marchioro (Managing Director of NEXAT do Brasil Ltda.), and Benedikt Pohl (Head of Global Sales & Service) announced the start of sales in Brazil. Brazil, as one of the world's largest agricultural markets with climatic challenges, is ideal to benefit from the Nexat system. Brazilian farmers can now order the Nexat system. The first deliveries are scheduled for later this year. The market entry will be accompanied by the establishment of regional service centers and partnerships with local equipment manufacturers to ensure customer service and spare parts supply.

A great thank you was given to the farmer Ricardo Basso, on whose Fazenda the Nexat system was tested. "The area cultivated with the system was gradually expanded. The results clearly show how the system can fully unfold its advantages under Brazilian conditions - especially through improved soil structure and increased productivity," said the manufacturer.
