Alpego returns with the Dtek combination seed drill

The agricultural machinery dealer Opico is reintroducing Alpego's Dtek seedbed combination to the island due to increased demand for improved weight distribution through a combination of front and rear attachments.

The standard power harrow is suitable for tractors up to 350 HP. It is easily mountable and equipped with hardened tines. Optionally, more durable versions made of tungsten carbide are available, as well as three trailing rollers: a toothed steel ring press, a rubber damper roller, and a conventional packer.

Behind the consolidation tool, there is a seed bar of 4 m, 5 m, or 6 m length with 335 mm large single-disc coulters at distances of 125 mm or 150 mm, mounted on rubber shock absorbers. This assembly can be removed to use the power harrow independently, with dismantling taking 15 minutes.

Opico offers the 1,900-liter ASPro front tank from Alpego with electronic seed rate control between 2 and 450 kg/ha. Control is done through an RDS Super control unit, equipped with half-width shut-off as standard, and ISOBUS is optional.

Prices for a 4 m long Dtek power harrow combination with front tank and ASPro front tank start at €93,000.

Update for Fendt Rogator 600 sprayer

Fendt has made a series of improvements to its Rogator 600 field sprayers to enhance performance under challenging conditions. The second-generation models now feature electronic, pneumatic nozzles that automatically switch based on travel speed to reduce drift. Banjo connections and valves are used throughout, and both the rinsing and boom leveling systems have been updated.

The cab has a category 4 filtration system and a similar operating concept to the company's tractors to simplify operation.

The Rogator can exchange data with other machines and communicate with the FendtONE offboard system, providing access to various information such as completed work details, machine operating hours, and reminders for the next maintenance schedule.

The updates apply to all three Rogator models - 645, 655, and 665 - with a power range of 235 to 307 HP, equipped with either a 5,000 or 6,000-liter tank and a 24 m or 36 m boom.

Ontar sprayers for the budget-conscious

The sprayer manufacturer Ontar from the central Turkish city of Konya traveled to this year's Cereals fair to conquer the British market.

One of the machines Ontar had high hopes for is the trailed Atrox Kompact, seen here with a 3,000-liter tank and an 18-meter boom, priced at €29,000. Key components include the galvanized steel frame, the boom, and the plastic tank. While these are manufactured in-house, the remaining components come from established manufacturers.

These include a five-cylinder Bertolini pump and various Arag devices, including seven section valves and a Bravo 400S automatic rate controller.

The nozzles come from Technomec and Teejet, but Arag is also on the options list. Tank sizes range from 600 to 6,000 liters, and the machine can be equipped with booms up to 32 meters wide.

Although the company is unknown in the UK, it has been building sprayers for 50 years and sells its products in 45 countries, including Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Spain.
