New Holland presents innovations in cutting platforms and combine harvesters for 2026 that improve harvest performance and comfort.
New Holland presents innovations in cutting units and mid-range combine harvesters for 2026, aiming to improve harvesting performance and comfort.
For the 2026 model year, New Holland has further developed the CX and TC straw-walker combine harvesters as well as the Varifeed™ cutting units for easier operation and increased productivity during harvest.
Revised cutting units for a more efficient harvest
New Holland has enhanced the Varifeed cutting units for 2026 to simplify operation and enhance performance. The knife drive has been switched to a telescopic drive shaft, ensuring smoother operation and reduced maintenance. Additionally, the new cutting frequency of 1,470 strokes per minute allows for higher driving speeds without compromising cutting quality. The cutting units ranging from 10.50m to 12.50m in width offer a synchronized double knife drive, improving performance and operational safety.
Enhanced features for mid-range combine harvesters
In addition to the cutting units, New Holland has optimized the CX5, CX6, and TC series combine harvesters. The UltraFlow™ drum, now available for CX5 models, enhances crop flow and reduces fuel consumption. The segmented concaves aim to achieve higher throughput with lower energy consumption. The new electrically adjustable straw choppers in the CX5 and CX6 models also contribute to increased operational safety by preventing blockages. Moreover, the TC, CX5, and CX6 series combine harvesters now come standard with a rearview camera, improving visibility to enhance operational safety.
Smart Sieve™ system and enhanced ease of operation
The improved Smart Sieve system allows for precise sieve adjustment directly from the operator's seat, increasing efficiency during harvesting. The precleaner can now be adjusted more comfortably. Machines with electrically adjustable top sieves also undergo automatic precleaner adjustment. These changes are designed to enable machines to operate with higher performance and reduced losses. The TC models receive new comfort options such as adjustable seating and radio functions, as well as an extended air pressure system. Fun fact: Since 1982, over 75,000 TC combine harvesters have been built, and they now resemble the larger New Holland combine harvesters in appearance.
