Kuhn introduces its new disc mower GMD 9530 RV with rotary rake. The machine can mow grass in a single pass without conditioner and create swaths. Its compact design ensures optimal maneuverability during both transport and work. Additionally, due to its low weight, it is well suited for tractors with 200 HP in most cases.
With a working width of 9.10 to 9.50 m combined with a front mower, the GMD 9530 RV meets the needs of large farms, machine cooperatives, and contractors looking for increased productivity while reducing costs.
Robust and durable
The mower can be used in demanding conditions thanks to the conveyor screw, mower bar with separate drive via universal joint and gearbox, as well as automatic cam clutch and shear bolt protections, as stated by Kuhn. This construction allows the machine to deliver excellent performance. The GMD 9530 RV is also equipped with Hardox wear parts to reduce maintenance and ensure a longer lifespan.
Versatile and user-friendly
The machine is designed to excel in adaptability, allowing customers to adjust swath width from 1.50 to 2 m based on feed. The rear hoods of the mowers can be hydraulically raised to spread widely, deposit swaths on one or both sides, optimize drying, and make it easier to pick up grass. Operating the machine is made simple through a simplified and intuitive control unit in the cabin. Users can control the mowers, adjust the suspension, or raise the rear hoods of the mowers.
Additional features
The GMD 9530 RV comes equipped with the maintenance-free Optidisc Elite mower bar. Known for its robustness, it features the Fast Lift system for quick blade attachment. The suspension adjustment via oil-pneumatic pressure accumulators offers excellent ground adaptation. Ground pressure can be adjusted to suit field conditions.
The exclusive Lift Control system combines this suspension with a Non-Stop safety function. Upon encountering an obstacle, the cutting unit swings back, reducing ground pressure to overcome the obstacle. The mower automatically returns to the working position once the obstacle is cleared.
