Now configurable: Case IH Farmall C is about to be launched for sale.

The new Case IH Farmall C-Series with ActiveDrive 2 transmission offers more than just telemetry, cabin suspension, high hydraulic performance, and expanded tire options.

The new Case IH Farmall C series with ActiveDrive 2 transmission offers more than just telemetry, cabin suspension, high hydraulic power, and expanded tire options.

The new Farmall C from Case IH is gearing up for its sales launch. This week, the new model made its first public appearance at Demoagro in Medina del Campo, Valladolid, Spain.

The new Farmall C series, featuring tractors ranging from 100 to 117 horsepower, can now be configured on the manufacturer's website. It will soon be available at dealerships, although a brochure is not yet available.

At Demoagro, farmers had the opportunity to take a closer look at the utility tractor this week. It is evident that Case IH has thoroughly revamped the C series. The Stage 5 FPT F36 four-cylinder engines are now available as an alternative to the proven ActiveDrive 2 with the well-known ManualDrive transmission, offering new features for increased performance and efficiency. The fuel tank capacity has been increased to 130 liters.

To meet various customer requirements, the tractors will be available in the future with either a cabin or ROPS (Roll-Over Protection Structure).

A new automatic function of the rear power take-off, which automatically engages or disengages the power take-off at a certain lift height, provides more comfort for the driver at headlands.

Gearbox and performance enhancements

The ManualDrive transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears (optionally 20x20 with creeper gear) complements the existing transmission options. It features an electronic, clutchless power shuttle with adjustable response speed, relieving the driver and making these tractors particularly suitable for loader operations.

Also available is an optimized ActiveDrive 2 transmission with 24x24 gears (40x40 with optional creeper gear) for better speed adaptation to specific tasks and improved engine maps for driving behavior optimization.

A new maximum rear tire size of 540/65 R38 allows the tractor to deliver power to the ground during soil cultivation, seeding, and heavy-duty work. Optional Heavy-Duty front axles, equipped with larger cylinders for additional stability and optimal steering behavior, are available.

The demands in modern agriculture are increasing, prompting Case IH to further enhance one of its key products, the Farmall C with ActiveDrive 2 transmission.

Foot brake as a clutch

To increase speed and comfort during loader operations, both transmission versions are equipped with the new ActiveClutch, which disengages the connection between the engine and the transmission when the foot brake is applied.

The new Case IH front loader L635 comes factory-installed, lifts 2.0 tons up to 3.8 meters, and is equipped with a self-locking quick-coupler, mechanical height adjustment, and a third function.

It is operated with a new joystick for simple and secure one-handed operation, allowing direction changes, gear shifts, speed memory, and all front loader functions without having to change grips.

High performance in a practical package

Despite having identical compact dimensions to its predecessor, the new Farmall C models feature more powerful components and improved functions, according to the manufacturer. The pump now delivers 82 liters per minute, enhancing the performance and responsiveness of hydraulically driven equipment.

The increased permissible total weight of 7 tons (+7.5%) allows for higher payload, improved efficiency, and easier transport of heavier equipment. The enhanced lifting capacity can handle 4.7 tons.

The front lift in combination with a wet front power take-off ensures a more durable and improved power transfer, expanding the range of applications and increasing reliability.

Also new is an automatic function of the rear power take-off, which automatically engages or disengages the power take-off at a certain lift height, providing more comfort for the driver at headlands.

The new Farmall C is also designed to perform well on the road.

More technology, comfort, and ergonomics

Optional integrated cabin suspension system ensures a smooth and comfortable ride, reducing driver fatigue.

A new digital instrument panel with adaptive lighting improves readability of tractor data during the day. At night and in poor lighting conditions, new LED lighting options ensure optimal visibility. Additionally, Case IH has repositioned the exhaust, providing an open, unobstructed view.

The optional adaptive steering (ACS) with variable steering ratio reduces steering wheel rotations for a better driving experience.

Advanced technology on board

Farmers of this tractor size increasingly value the benefits of precision technology proven in larger models.

Options for the Farmall C tractors include factory-installed electric ISOBUS Class 2 steering automation. Furthermore, data is uploaded immediately and automatically to the new FieldOps platform, enabling unified web and mobile access and facilitating recording, management, and decision-making.

When connected to the Case IH Pro 1200 monitor, precision guidance up to 2.5 cm is achievable thanks to AccuGuide using the Vector Pro receiver.

Because the new C series is equipped extensively and suitable for a wide range of tasks on the farm, the manufacturer refers to the model as "The Swiss Army Knife of Tractors."

Or perhaps something less?
