Oxbo presents a new way to incorporate manure and other spreading materials in one operation with the AT5105 spreader. A towed cultivator is mounted behind the self-propelled machine for this purpose.
Oxbo introduces a new way to incorporate manure and other spreading materials in one operation with the AT5105 spreader. A towed cultivator is mounted behind the self-propelled unit for this purpose.
For the first time, Oxbo has supplemented its AT5105 manure spreader with a towed cultivator. This allows for the direct incorporation of solid manure in one operation. This minimizes nitrogen losses, odor formation, and reduces damage to soil structure, as only one operation is needed, thus reducing soil compaction and leaching.
Weather conditions such as wind and rain (runoff on slopes) no longer affect the manure as it is immediately incorporated. The processed manure is optimally utilized as added minerals have no chance to evaporate. Where previously a second machine and hence a second employee were needed after the spreader to do this, this is now a thing of the past with this innovation.
The OXBO AT5105 spreader, suitable for any type of manure and lime, is equipped with Dual Drive. The speed of the spreading rollers and discs can be adjusted to the specific type of manure, thus determining the working width. Dosage starts at 1.5 tons per hectare. It is also equipped with automatic dosing through a weighing system that determines the speed of the dosing chain and adjusts the valve height. Everything is easily adjustable, as promised by the manufacturer. The self-propelled machine is excellently suited for this purpose.
The OXBO AT5105 delivers solid manure with valuable minerals in one pass to ensure maximum yield and minimize field stress. It is expected that the incorporation of solid manure and any training requirements in all EU countries will soon come into effect, with Bavaria already implementing this.
