Manitou has developed the ULM telescopic handler specifically for work in tight and hard-to-reach areas. At bauma, the French also showcased the appropriate trailer for it.
Specifically designed for work in narrow and hard-to-reach areas, Manitou has developed the Telescopic Loader ULM. At the bauma exhibition, the French also showcased the matching trailer for it.
At the bauma trade fair in Munich, the Manitou Group presented a special package solution consisting of a compact telescopic loader and a matching trailer. The aluminum trailer was specially designed for transporting the ultra-light Manitou Telescopic Loader ULM.
With a trailer with a maximum weight of 3.5 tons, the ULM can be easily transported to the site by car. This makes the machine particularly interesting for municipalities, landscaping companies, fire departments, or farmers, according to the manufacturer.
Both the dimensions, tie-down points, fenders, and the trailer's tongue weight are specifically designed for transporting the machine. Martin Hüttinger, Manitou's Regional Sales Manager for the South, is excited about the solution because the ULM can be quickly loaded thanks to the low loading height and non-slip loading ramps. It provides mobility and allows the machine to be easily taken to rough terrain.
The Ultra Light Manitou (ULM) is the most compact telescopic loader from Manitou, specifically designed for work in narrow and difficult-to-access areas. It is available in two versions - ULM 412 and ULM 415 - depending on the required load capacity. The trailer is also suitable for transporting small work platforms and other machines, depending on dimensions and weight.
