International milk prices have fallen again.

On the trading floor of the "Global Dairy Trade," the average price for dairy products has decreased by 0.9% to $4,589 per ton. Lactose has experienced the largest price drop.

After several price increases, the average price across all products and periods on the international trading platform "Global Dairy Trade" has declined. The price recently dropped by 0.9% to $4,589 per ton. This decrease brings the Global Dairy Trade Price Index down to 1,333 points.

There has been a significant price drop for lactose and cheddar.

Most products have seen a decrease in price, including lactose (-13.2% to $1,398 per ton), butter (-1.5% to $7,821 per ton), skim milk powder (-0.7% to $2,817 per ton), whole milk powder (-1.0% to $4,332 per ton), and cheddar (-9.2% to $5,007 per ton). Only mozzarella (+0.7% to $4,788 per ton) and butter oil (+0.9% to $7,273 per ton) have seen price increases. No price was determined for buttermilk powder.

The traded quantity was lower at 15,194 tons compared to the last auction on May 6th (16,714 tons). The auction takes place every two weeks.
