Arla confirmed to agrarheute that production at its Upahl facility in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is affected. The dairy company stated that "suspicious activities" had disrupted the local IT network at the Upahl plant.

Possible delivery delays and disruptions were communicated to the affected customers by the company. Markus Teubner, the spokesperson for Arla Germany, stated, "Since then, we have been working tirelessly to fully restore regular operations." The dairy expects to return to normal operations at the site in the coming days. Production at other plants is unaffected. Arla's Upahl site is known as the "competence center for organic products and quark," producing items under the brands Hansano, Arla Skyr, and Arla Bio.
