According to The Weekly Times, Gina Rinehart has acquired 7,000 hectares of pasture land to further expand her XXL Wagyu herd. She emphasizes the importance of keeping the land in Australian hands. Rinehart, a mining magnate, already owns extensive properties across the country and has now added another piece of land for cattle farming in northern New South Wales. The price tag for this acquisition is 35 million Australian dollars, approximately 20 million euros. In 2016, she also acquired the world's largest agricultural operation, with eleven million hectares and 185,000 cattle, for about 247 million euros.

The purchase of the 35 million dollar Jindabyne Station cattle farming operation was done quietly and expands her already vast agricultural empire. She recently acquired the 10,000-hectare Wongaboori Station for over 70 million dollars, increasing her land holdings in the region to approximately 26,000 hectares. In 2021, however, she sold two of her cattle farms in Australia for over 60 million dollars.

Following this, she purchased the 16,600-hectare Glencoe Aggregation, which has become the center for the company Hancock Agriculture's Fullblood Wagyu and F1 herds. It now comprises over 12,000 cattle. Together with Hancock Agriculture and S. Kidman & Co, Gina Rinehart currently owns more than 20 properties nationwide, totaling 3.5 million hectares. She is one of the largest beef producers in Australia, with over 150,000 animals. Her wealth is estimated at 46 billion dollars.
